Patricia Peraza was picked by Lillian Disney (Walt Disney’s
wife) for a full scholarship at CalArts. After graduating, she became the first
woman hired from the CalArts Disney Character Animation Programs as well as
become the first woman effects animator at Walt Disney Studios. Since then, she
has excelled in animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Warner Brothers,
and other studios while inspiring others as a leader and innovator in the
animation field. She has earned the title of Disney Master Artist with her
original pieces, "Cloth Creations" and recently was recognized along
with her spouse, the layout and conceptual artist as well as art director,
Michael Peraza Jr. as a Disneyana Fan Club (DFC) Legend. Together, they travel
