Bill Thomas dressed actors in over 300 films ( including just about every Walt Disney production ). He is my 440th pick to be named a Disney Legend.
In 1961 he received his first of many, many assignments for Walt Disney Studios – The Parent Trap. He was in charge of costumes or helped with costumes in Mary Poppins, Son of Flubber, Babes of Toyland, Lt. Robin Crusoe USN, Moon Pilot, Monkeys Go Home!, Summer Magic, The Happiest Millionaire, The Gnome Mobile, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Follow Me Boys!, That Darn Cat, Blackbeard’s Ghost, The Love Bug, One and Only Genuine Original Family Band, Never a Dull Moment, and The Horse in the Grey Flannel Suit, Island at the Top of the World, The Adventures of Pollyanna and Pete’s Dragon. His last motion picture for the Studio was The The Black Hole.
