Dick Van Every - my 432nd choice to be named a Disney Legend

  Dick Van Every was a mechanical engineer with MAPO. MAPO originally was short for “Mary Poppins,” which was the source for much of the funding for Walt Disney World. It was later “officially” redesignated as “Materials And Production Operations.” Basically, it was the manufacturing arm of Walt Disney Imagineering. Van Everywas in Audio-Animatronics design and manufacturing at Disneyland. He has a window at Disneyland in his honor that he shares with several other engineers. He is my 432nd choice to be named a Disney Legend.
