Bing Crosby's involvement with Disney was narrating the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" segment in The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. He sings the "Headless Horseman" song in the same film. He was also caricatured in Who Killed Cock Robin?.
Basil Rathbone, known for his role as Sherlock Holmes, narrated The Wind in the Willows segment in The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. The Disney animators later used recordings of him as Sherlock Holmes in The Great Mouse Detective. His role as Sherlock Holmes was later spoofed by Genie in the TV series, Aladdin.
