Robert Logglia - my 500th pick to be named a Disney Legend

Actor Robert Logglia is my 500th pick to be named a Disney Legend.

He was famous for playing the role of bad guys, gangsters, mobsters, mafia bosses, drug dealers, loan sharks, mercenaries, and a gangster named Salvatore (his actual name) "The Shark" Macelli in Innocent Blood which explains why people in the Walt Disney Studios picked him to give the voice of Sykes, the loan shark gangster, in Oliver and Company. He also played Lew Horner in the 1991 Hollywood Pictures film, The Marrying Man, John McBainbridge in the 1998 Touchstone Pictures film, Holy Man, and Matt in the 1994 Touchstone Pictures film, I Love Trouble.

Loggia’s big acting break and first major role came as the star of the 10-part Disney TV mini-series “The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca,” which aired from 1958 through 1960. The series was edited and released as a full-length movie, “Elfego Baca: Six-Gun Law,” in 1962.

Loggia was tasked with depicting the real-life Elfego Baca, who was legendary throughout New Mexico. Baca was part gunman, part lawman, part lawyer and part politician during the late 1880s/early 1890s.

e will be my last on the list to have his own slot. I plan to do a post with 250 honorable mentions listed alphabetically next.

Chris Sarandon - my 497th choice to be called a Disney Legend

For Disney, he voiced Jack Skellington in Tim Burton's 1993 stop-motion fantasy film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. In the original film, Sarandon only voiced Jack's speaking voice, composer Danny Elfman did Jack's singing. In the video-game spin-off Oogie's Revenge Sarandon did do Jack's singing. He reprised the role for Jack in many other subsequent Disney productions, such as the video games The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, the Kingdom Hearts series, and Disney INFINITY, along with Halloween Screams and the Haunted Mansion Holiday, at the Disneyland Resort. He is my 497th choice to be called a Disney Legend.
