Michael J. Fox - my 274th pick to be named a Disney Legend

Michael J. Fox has been a superstar actor on both the big screen and the small screen. He had several memorable roles for Disney as well. He is my 274th pick to be named a Disney Legend.

For Disney, he played Scott Larson in the 1980 film Midnight Madness. He also provided the voice of Chance in the 1993 film Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey and its 1996 sequel, as well as voiced Milo Thatch in the 2001 animated feature film Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Michael in the Phineas and Ferb episode "The Curse of Candace". Additionally, he portrayed Michael Chapman in the 1993 Touchstone Pictures film Life with Mikey and Ethan West in the ABC TV show Designated Survivor.

Fox was also said to be one of the inspirations for the character Aladdin. Aladdin's original design was younger, more cartoony, and loosely based on actor Michael J. Fox. But Jeffrey Katzenberg wanted the design changed, fearing that Aladdin wasn't a suitable leading man for the beautiful Jasmine. So Aladdin's design was reworked to be less Michael J. Fox and more Tom Cruise. However, animation on the movie had already started, so you can see traces of the old Aladdin design during 'Friend Like Me.'
