Composers Sammy Fain and Sammy Cahn share my 248th spot to be named a Disney Legend. Fain contributed to the song scores for the Walt Disney animated films Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and The Rescuers. In 1972, he was inducted into The Songwriters Hall of Fame. Cahn was inducted the same year.
Fain and Chan worked together on several songs from Peter Pan including "The Second Star to the Right", "What Made the Red Man Red?", "The Elegant Captain Hook", "Your Mother and Mine" and the most famous of all "You Can Fly."
