Bob Harpur - choice number 31 as a Disney Legend

Bob Harpur is my first full-fledged Imagineer to make the list. My love for trains and the history of trains in the Walt Disney Company. Several of the current trains at Walt Disney World were  restored by a crew headed by Disney imagineer and accomplished live steam builder Bob Harpur. Harpur ran a model train factory before joining Disney in 1966.

He is the only person who worked on every Disney railroad in all of the parks. He was very active in the establishment of the trains in Disneyland Paris. He also had a very large part to play in the Wildlife Express in the Animal Kingdom. In fact one of the engines at animal Kingdom is named "Baba Harpoor." Bob also worked with Walt on the Carolwood Pacific.
