Oscar winning actor George C. Scott is my 493rd pick to be named a Disney Legend.
For Disney, he voiced Smoke in the 1990 television special
Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue and Percival McLeach in the 1990 animated film
The Rescuers Down Under. George C Scott, beat Clint Eastwood, Paul Hogan, John Mahoney and Mandy
Patinkin to voice McLeach, the villain of the film. In fact McLeach was so villainous, animators would refer back to him when working
on new villains including Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, Governor
Ratcliffe from Pocahontas and Clayton from Tarzan.
