Brad Bird is an American director, screenwriter,
animator, producer, and occasional voice actor who is best known for directing
and wrote the movie, The Iron Giant. He is my 285th pick to be named a Disney Legend.
For Disney, Bird directed Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles
(2004), it's 2018 sequel and Ratatouille (2007). Both films place among Pixar's highest-grossing features and gave Bird two Academy Award for Best Animated Feature wins and Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay nominations. He has also won several Annie awards. He also voiced Edna Mode in
The Incredibles and the Ambrister Minion in Ratatouille. He also directed the
2015 science fiction film, Tomorrowland.
He is also the father of actors Michael and Nicholas Bird.
