George Vernon Stallings - my 157th pick to be named a Disney Legend
Animator, director and writer Vernon Stallings is my 157th choice to be named a Disney Legend. Stallings directed the Silly
Symphonies short Merbabies before continuing writing for the Disney studios on
feature films such as Fantasia, Dumbo, Victory Through Air Power and Bambi. He is the son of famous
baseball manager George Stallings.
